U-20’s & SECONDS HOME GAMES ON SUNDAY

U-20’s vital game against University of Galway

For the second week in a row, Buccaneers U-20’s face a “must win” fixture when they take on the newly named University of Galway outfit in their final J.P.Fanagan Leinster League qualifier at Dubarry Park on Sunday. Kick-off is at 2.30 p.m.

Buccs did not perform to their capabilities in their opening game, a defeat away to Corinthians, but they were vastly improved when accounting for Galwegians last weekend. Wegians put the Students to the sword on a 76-0 scoreline so, on paper, Buccs should prevail. However, College were poorly organised on that day and they improved considerably when going down 47-24 to Corinthians who are already assured of a Division 2 slot.

University of Galway will be even more organised come Sunday so Buccs must pay them due respect and remain focussed and disciplined. If they continue the improvement shown at Glenina then a home win is on the cards.

BUCCANEERS SECONDS have home advantage against Monivea in the Cawley Cup Plate semi-final on Sunday with the action starting in Dubarry Park at 2.30 p.m.
