REMEMBRANCE EVENING

REMEMBRANCE EVENING

Last Thursday’s well attended REMEMBRANCE EVENING was a very meaningful and much appreciated gathering in memory of members and family who have passed since the Covid pandemic. Thanks to Regina Bushell who led the event and spoke so eloquently and movingly, to our ‘Stars’ lady Ann Reid and to Lorna Stuart-Trainor and Syra Reid for the beautiful bouquets. A special word of praise to Fr. Pat Murphy and Rev. William Steacy for their key guidance and participation. Much gratitude too to The Bounty for the complimentary food, to Fernhill Garden Centre for providing the lovely tree of remembrance which has been planted, and to Michael Silke for the candles. It will surely become an annual event at the club.

CONDOLENCES
Heartfelt condolences are extended to Ronan Bushell and family on the passing of his sister Sheila Murphy. Deepest sympathy is extended also to Patrick Connors and family on the death of his mother Helen.
