BUCCANEERS RFC is commencing a weekly 50/50 DRAW on St. Stephen’s night. Entry is only €2 per week. If you pay €50 upfront you get one free entry or pay €100 upfront and get two free entries during the year. Draw envelopes are available in The Bounty or from any of the organising sub-committee fronted by Adrian Hanley and including Michael Kiely, Pat McManus, Fidelma Gilligan, Joan Webster, Rory Grenham, Yvonne O’Shea and Geraldine Kenny.
Meanwhile, the club thanks everyone who supported us in the ‘YOUR CLUB, YOUR COUNTRY’ Grand Draw. It proved our best sales effort to date and here we must thank the enthusiastic endeavours of our Club Administrator Geraldine for driving this fund-raiser so successfully.
Unfortunately Buccaneers had no winners in the national draw but, as a gesture acknowledging the support of all who bought tickets in it, the club is holding an internal draw for which there will be four prizes. First prize is €200 followed by three prizes of €100 each. This will take place before Christmas so four of our supporters will soon receive some festive cheer.
