PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS EVENT
BUCCANEERS PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARDS event takes place in Athlone’s Sheraton Hotel on Saturday, May 6th. Player of the Year Awards will be made to Firsts, Seconds, Thirds and U-20’s players while Buccaneers players who have represented Ireland during the season will also be honoured as will the Club Person of the Year.
Player of the year nominations (in alphabetical order):-
Firsts:- RUAIRI BYRNE, FRANK HOPKINS, STEPHEN MANNION.
Seconds:- HARRY BALSIGER, ROSS MURPHY-SWEENEY, CATHAL WALSH.
Thirds:- DECLAN BRADY, JAMES DOWNES, LEON O’CONNOR.
Under-20’s:- ROBBIE BYRNE, GAVIN DALY, TOM SHINE.
