BUCCS HOME TO GREYSTONES IN RE-FIXED MATCH
Buccaneers are home to Greystones in their rescheduled Energia All-Ireland League Division 2A match at Dubarry Park on Saturday. The original fixture fell victim to Storm Eowyn and the IRFU allocated this weekend for the clubs to play but to avoid a kick-off time that would clash with the Wales v Ireland Six Nations game. To facilitate this, Buccaneers proposed early kick off on Saturday or a floodlit encounter after the 6N game while a Friday night slot was also offered. Greystones did not find favour with any of these and thus the IRFU has decreed a 4 p.m. kick-off time which is not very ideal for both players and supporters alike.
U-20’s AWAY TO TRINITY
BUCCANEERS U-20’s are away to Dublin University when they resume their J.P.Fanagan Leinster Premier League 2 campaign on Sunday. This could be a tricky assignment as there was little between the teams when the Pirates won in Athlone. But if Buccs are focused and apply themselves to the best of their collective ability they can forge another victory that would see them maintain their position on top of the league table. This Super Six Group One match kicks off in College Park at 3 p.m.
