U-20’s AWAY TO TRINITY
The prime fixture next weekend is Buccaneers joust with Dublin University in a rearranged J.P.Fanagan Leinster League Premier 2 game on Sunday. This vital match for Buccs now takes place at Trinity’s grounds at Santry, Dublin, with a 3 p.m. kick-off.
Fresh from their memorable win over fellow contenders Blackrock College,d estiny is in the Pirates own hands provided they win their final two fixtures both of which are away. Trinity are propping up this league but Buccs must grant them due respect and maintain their own focus and gameplan. The Shannonsiders were dominant when the sides met in Athlone but then dropped their tempo and application and had to work hard in the end to win. They cannot allow a repeat against the Students on their own patch but this Buccaneers squad is a good one and their management will surely have them focussed on what they must do to maintain their push for honours.
Buccs had great support for the Rock match and lets see hordes of Pirates at Santry on Sunday as the team strives for history!
