Buccaneers RFC Annual General Meeting takes place in The Bounty (main function suite) on Tuesday, May 13th commencing at 7.30 p.m.

The annual Awards Event for Firsts, Seconds, U-20s and Womens players as well as the Clubperson of the Year award takes place in The Bounty on Friday, May 16th. Youths Awards event follows on Sunday, May 18th from 4 p.m.
Meanwhile, best of luck to Andrew Henson and Leo Anic who are among the nominees for U-18 Player of the Year at the Connacht Rugby Awards Gala which takes place in Galway on Saturday May 24th. Corey Reid is nominated in the Mens Senior Club player section with Marist College in the hunt for Schools accolade. Best of luck to all involved.
GIRLS ‘GIVE IT A TRY’
“Give it a try” for girls aged 6 to 13 years old commences at Buccaneers RFC for 8 weeks on Monday, May 5th. There is a one-off cost of only €10. Sessions are from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays where you can learn about our sport, make new friends and receive a free gift! SUMMER TAG LEAGUE
BUCCANEERS is hosting a Tag Rugby Summer League at Dubarry Park commencing on May 22nd. Entry fee is €480 for mixed teams of males and females, which works out at just €5 per player per night over 8 weeks. Teams and/or individuals can register now at www.connachtrugby.ie
NEXT SEASON’S AIL OPPONENTS
BUCCANEERS will face a number of new opponents in next season’s Energia All-Ireland League Division 2B with first meetings against Clogher Valley in Fivemiletown, Co. Tyrone (one of three Ulster clubs) and promoted Enniscorthy in Co. Wexford. Navan were also relegated to 2B where Skerries, Malone, UL Bohemian and Rainey Old Boys ply their trade. Galwegians and Sligo will add a Connacht spice to this division.
