Buccaneers Touch Rugby players star for Ireland Men’s 45s team.
The Ireland Men’s 45s Touch Rugby team including Buccaneers’ Paul Gavin and Nigel So won Silver at the European Senior Cup in Stirling, Scotland last weekend. The Ireland M45s had eight games in all over three days and they won six of them, gaining victories over Scotland, Portugal, the Euroselect team as well as England Men’s 50s and England Men’s 55s. However they could not get close to Gold Medallists England Men’s 45s who were a class apart throughout and who beat Ireland M45s 12-2 in the final. Paul managed to get on the scoresheet twice against Euro Select and Portugal.
