BUCCS HOME TO ENNISCORTHY
BUCCANEERS entertain Enniscorthy in the fifteenth round of the Energia All-Ireland League on Saturday, kicking off at 2.30 p.m. This is the Wexford club’s first visit to Dubarry Park and they arrive on the back of a long overdue victory, having defeated Rainey 34-24 last weekend. This will surely rejuvenate them as did Buccs first win in a long time when the Pirates were victorious in Enniscorthy last October.
So Buccs will need to have their attitude right and be switched on from the start come Saturday. They were collectively off the pace at Navan, apart from a couple of players, in a most disappointing display. However, they have the capabilities, provided they are not complacent, to record a double over the visitors in what is likely to be an open and entertaining Division 2B duel.
The AIL match will be preceded by a friendly fixture between the two clubs Seconds sides, kick-off 12.30 p.m.
Buccaneers U-14 Girls get a full day of rugby action under way when they take on Ballinasloe in the Bank of Ireland Connacht Cup semi-final at Dubarry Park on Saturday morning, kick-off 11 a.m.
