GORDON BALLANTYNE
The sudden passing of past president Gordon Ballantyne has been received with great shock and immense sadness at the club. Gordon was a long-time supporter of the club, initially as Athlone RFC and subsequently as Buccaneers RFC for whom he was President in season 2018/19. Softly spoken and a true gentleman, Gordon served in various roles on the club’s Executive Committee for a number of years. Heartfelt condolences are extended to his family and especial friend Kay. May he be granted eternal rest.
