SENIORS AWAY TO THOMOND
BUCCANEERS SENIOR SQUAD will be striving for a major improvement when they head to Limerick on Saturday to square up to Thomond in the third round of the Energia All-Ireland League Division 2B South. This acid test for the Pirates kicks off in Liam Fitzgerald Park at 2.30 p.m. Thomond bounced back from a home defeat to Midleton by trouncing Enniscorthy away. They have a typically physical Limerick pack and a canny outhalf in Evan Cusack. Buccs will need to be switched on and competitive from start to finish whilst eliminating basic errors that have not helped their cause to date.
U-20s HOME TO UCD
BUCCANEERS U-20s bid to make a positive response following their opening day narrow defeat when they take on University College Dublin’s Seconds in the J.P.Fanagan Leinster Premier League 2 at Dubarry Park on Sunday. The action kicks off at 3 p.m.
WOMEN HOME TO CLAREMORRIS
BUCCANEERS WOMENS team make a belated start to their Bank of Ireland Connacht Junior 1B League when they host Claremorris at Dubarry Park on Sunday when kick-off is 1 p.m.
