‘YOUR CLUB, YOUR COUNTRY’ GRAND DRAW
The annual ‘Your Club, Your Country’ Grand Draw organised by the IRFU takes place in early December. This year, due to Covid-19 restrictions, tickets are on sale online via www.irfu.ie
There is a super array of eleven prizes with the star prize sponsored by Vodafone being a trip for two to the Pacific Islands next June when the Ireland rugby team tours there. A trip of a lifetime …. and it could be yours for only €10. Other really attractive prizes include a €5,000 holiday courtesy of Energia. The full list can be found on the IRFU website.
This is a vital fund-raiser for the club as all sources of income are now more or less evaporated due to the on-going pandemic. The proceeds of all tickets sold go to the club so, when purchasing online, ensure you click on to the Buccaneers logo (logos are in alphabetical order so Buccs is one of the first!) on the appropriate section of the IRFU website so that your funds will come directly to the Athlone club. This is a key fund-raiser in these most challenging of times, and all support will be greatly and gratefully welcome at the club.
