BUCCS PLAYERS ON IRELAND CALL!
Five Buccaneers players are likely to taste international action for Ireland this weekend. First up will be David Heffernan who starts at hooker for Ireland A v the All Blacks XV on Friday night. Live TV coverage on Virgin Media. Kick off 19.45
A trio of young Buccs have been named in the Ireland U-18 Clubs squad to play Italy U-18’s in Rome on Saturday. Patrick Egan starts at No.8 and, hopefully, Niall Tallon and Sean Rohan will come on from the bench. This game kicks off at 11 a.m. Irish time and will be live-streamed.
Meanwhile, at Senior level, Ireland host world champions South Africa in the Aviva Stadium on Saturday evening at 5.30 p.m. with live coverage on Virgin Media. Unfortunately, a hamstring injury rules out Robbie Henshaw adding to his 60 caps but Finlay Bealham will surely be introduced for his 26th appearance.
