Due to the prevailing wet weather and with further downpours of rain anticipated over the coming days, Connacht’s open training session scheduled for Friday at Dubarry Park has been postponed. Connacht Rugby is endeavouring to reschedule this much anticipated visit by their squad to Buccaneers.
CONNACHT SQUAD SESSION IN DUBARRY PARK
CONNACHT RUGBY SQUAD will hold a training session at Dubarry Park, Athlone, home of Buccaneers RFC, on Friday morning. The players will take to the paddock at 10 a.m. for an hour or thereabouts, after which there will be an opportunity to mix with the players for selfies and autographs while some of the players will participate in a spot of Tag Rugby with some lucky kids.
Already a number of National and Secondary schools have confirmed that they will attend this session which is open to the public and admission is free. So come along and see Jack Carty, Caolin Blade, Cian Prendergast, Paul Boyle and the Murray brothers Niall and Darragh up close and personal. Tiernan O’Halloran, David Heffernan and Denis Buckley will surely be there too as, hopefully, will Mack Hansen.
It’s an occasion not to be missed so get there early!
