ROBBIE TRY ONLY BRIGHT SPOT FOR IRELAND

HENSHAW TRY FOR IRELAND
Robbie Henshaw’s try was one of the few bright spots in Ireland’s defeat to England. Schoolboy errors contributed to the winners opening pair of tries in a game where our halfbacks played well below expectations while Jacob Stockdale’s defensive quality is simply not up to international requirements. Keith Earls should start against Italy when John Cooney also warrants to be in from the kick-off. Meanwhile an exhilarating and sustained effort by Ireland’s U-20’s earned them a stunning win over the Red Rose as they bid for back to back grand slams. Disappointingly from a Buccaneers perspective, it is the first time in many seasons that no young Pirate is in the U-20 squad.
