PROJECT SAUNA SUPPORTS 5K FUN RUN ON NEW YEAR’S DAY
BUCCANEERS RFC is holding a 5K FUN RUN on New Year’s Day starting at 12 noon at the Athlone Regional Sports Centre. Registration takes place from 11 a.m. Entry is €10 with a Family fee of €20; Reduced rate of €5 for youths. Proceeds are shared equally in aid of the club and St. Hilda’s Services. A great way to kick out the cobwebs after the festive season and to support two worthy causes. All welcome on the day.
Project Sauna at Buccaneers RFC supports the charity run with a fundraiser ice bath challenge.
*For every minute spent in the ice bath, they will donate €1 to the charity fundraiser.
*Free sessions all day.
*Open to all event participants and supporters
*Only one attempt
*Max 3 minutes per person
*Walk-ins welcome
*Sauna and coffee available on site
