Buccaneers RFC mourns the passing of DAN O’DOWD who died on Sunday. He was Senior Captain of Athlone RFC for the seasons 1963/66, the first player to skipper the club for three seasons. Heartfelt condolences are extended to his wife Emer, sons Shane and Alastair, and extended family. May he rest in eternal peace. Funeral arrangements are on www.rip.ie
