DARRAGH MURRAY IN IRELAND SQUAD FOR 6N SHOWDOWN

DARRAGH MURRAY has been included on the Ireland bench for the Guinness Six Nations showdown against Scotland which takes place at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, kick-off 2.10 p.m. This is a wonderful honour for the young Buccaneers player who has been fast-tracked into the squad on the back of consistent displays for Connacht and impressive debut performances for Ireland against Georgia and Portugal earlier in the season.
The 24-year-old also acquitted himself well when playing for Ireland A against England last year. Immensely competitive and athletic, the lock forward is a native of Lisbrock just west of Athlone and he is a past pupil of St. Aloysius College in Athlone. He is the third Roscommon native to play senior rugby for Ireland.
Ireland go head-to-head with Scotland to win the Triple Crown while the victors, if England defeat France, could also capture the Six Nations title. So, a wonderful occasion for Murray to get his first taste of 6N action.
Everyone at Buccaneers is hugely proud of Darragh and he is wished all the best for this latest exciting chapter in his career. Carpe Diem, Darragh!
