All at Buccaneers wish the best of luck to Marist College in the Connacht Schools Senior Cup final against Sligo Grammar on Wednesday. This much anticipated decider kicks off at Heffernan Park, Ballina, at 2 p.m.
There is a strong cohort of Buccs players in the Athlone school’s squad including Thomas Cotton, Kyle Mahon, Charlie O’Carroll, Evan McMickan and Tom Sheehan who all played in Buccs U-20 Leinster title winning team last Sunday. Sheehan incurred a knee injury in that victory and could be doubtful for the decider. Andrew Henson, Ciaran West, Philip Finnan, Kailin Blessing and Darragh Glennon are among the other Buccs in their ranks.
