Despite outscoring Connemara by three tries to two, Buccaneers Thirds came up short in this Connacht Junior 1B League game played at Dubarry Park on Sunday. Buccs led 15-13 at half-time despite a yellow card for Anthony Hughes but in the gloomy conditions could not add to their tally after the change of ends. The Blacks notched one try in that period that proved the decisive score of a fairly even contest. Andrew Flood, Nigel So and Mthabisi Khumbalo were Buccs try scorers.
