BUCCANEERS 26 BALLINASLOE 19
Buccaneers Yellow team played their first Connacht U-15 league game of the season on a calm Sunday afternoon in Athlone and came away with a 26-19 win. Buccs started strongly and a well worked move put Donnacha O’Sullivan away and he beat a couple of tackles to go over in the corner. Pick of Buccs 3 first half tries was Tomi Afinkaye’s long gallop to score under the posts. After the break Ballinasloe came back with 2 tries of their own but Buccs always looked dangerous with the ball and had enough on the bench to win the game.
