BUCCANEERS AWARDS NIGHT ON MAY 14th
BUCCANEERS PLAYERS OF THE YEAR AWARDS NIGHT takes place on Saturday week May 14th. No venue in Athlone was available for the chosen date so this event will be held in the Shearwater Hotel, Ballinasloe. Four Player of the Year Awards are up for grabs as well as the accolade of Buccaneers Club Person of the year with the winners being announced on the night. Club players who represented Ireland will also be honoured at the event. We can count on the ladies to dress smartly for the occasion and will expect the guys to do likewise; “smart casual — no jeans”! There will dancing after the awards presentations which will follow a 4-course dinner. Tickets cost only €40 each and can be purchased by contacting our Administrator Geraldine at 0861732711.

All-Ireland League Division 2A champions and Connacht Senior Cup winners.
Seconds reached Connacht Junior Cup final and League semi-final.
U-20’s won J.P.Fanagan League Division 3 and the Harry Gale Cup; a historic Leinster double by a Connacht club.
Womens team contested Connacht Cup final.
Great all-round achievements by the adult teams plus 5 of our 6 Youths teams played in Connacht Cup finals. What a season!
