Buccaneers J1’s have been drawn at home for the quarter-final of the Connacht Junior Cup in which they square up to Ballinrobe at Dubarry Park on Sunday, kicking off at 2p.m. Ballinrobe play one flight below Buccs and are having a tough league campaign too, propping up this section. They defeated Carrick-On-Shannon by a single point last Sunday and will be keen to salvage something from their season with a decent Cup run. They can be counted on to be physical and doughty opponents but if Buccaneers reproduce the form that accounted for Sligo, then the Pirates should progress.
