BUCCANEERS RFC’S third BUSINESS NETWORKING LUNCH takes place in Athlone’s Sheraton Hotel on Friday, February 7th. Three exciting and interesting guest speakers have been lined up for the event, which has proved hugely popular to date. Feargal O’Rourke, Anne-Marie Taylor and Des Fitzgerald are the keynote speakers.
Feargal O’Rourke is Managing Partner of PwC in Ireland. He is a chartered accountant and tax expert. The Athlonian is son of renowned politician Mary O’Rourke and the late Enda, who for many years was honorary Secretary of Athlone RFC (the precursor of Buccaneers).
The rugby connection continues with Des Fitzgerald who was capped as a prop 34 times for Ireland for whom his son Luke also played. Current Chief Executive at EBS, Des has many sporting interests and accomplishments.
Anne-Marie Taylor’s background is in management consultancy and she is passionate about women advancing in business. She is on the board of the Public Appointments Service and the Irish Hospice Foundation.
