Senior Men’s Team Relegation & Future Outlook

Buccaneers RFC Senior Men’s team has been relegated from the Energia All-Ireland League 2A following a difficult and challenging season. While this outcome is disappointing for everyone involved with the club, we remain proud of the players, coaches and backroom team’s commitment, effort, and resilience throughout the campaign.

Relegation is never easy, but it provides an opportunity for reflection, growth, and renewed focus. The club is already laying strong foundations for the future, with our U-20s winning Leinster League Premier 2 while our Minis and Youths sections continue to flourish. The energy and enthusiasm at these levels give us immense hope and belief in the talent coming through the ranks.

In addition, we are actively working on our long-term development plans both on and off the pitch. From improved coaching structures to enhanced facilities, Buccaneers RFC remains fully committed to returning stronger and building a sustainable future for all involved.

We thank our loyal supporters, volunteers, players and sponsors for their continued backing. Together, we will rise again.
