CONNACHT GIRLS BLITZ
BUCCANEERS hosted Connacht Girls Blitzes at Dubarry Park when approximately 100 U-10 and U-12 girls participated. Teams from Galway Corinthians, Gort, Loughrea, Portumna and host club Buccaneers played exciting matches on the main pitch in ideal conditions. A great morning’s rugby was had and there were plenty of refreshments in the Gazebo afterwards. Thanks here to Foodies (Pearse Street Centre) for the delicious post-match sandwiches and wraps and to the parents for all the treats and home backing. The Buccs U-10 and U-12 girls teams have a busy schedule for the remainder of the season and training continues on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. and on Wednesday evenings at 6.30 p.m. Beginners welcome.
