CONNACHT WIN INTERPRO TITLE
Connacht won the Girls U-18 Interprovincial title by virtue of an 8-5 victory over Leinster at packed Dubarry Park on Sunday. The westerners were full value for their win which was much more comprehensive than the final margin suggests. Knock-ons in promising positions and a couple of ‘white line fever’ attacks when ignoring overlaps denied them adding tries to their tally. Emily Foley scored their early try and Siofra Hession added a penalty to seal a magnificent win on a bright afternoon.
