CORRIB 7 BUCCANEERS 19
Buccaneers U-15s return Connacht League fixture v Corrib was played on a good surface in Headford on Saturday. Buccs opened up with some great handling but had only one score on the board at half time. They were conceding numerous penalties but managed to put a few phases together with 2 tries and 2 conversions before the home side scored after fierce pressure.
All in all a disjointed performance by the Athlone boys who will need to buckle down and concentrate in order to realise their potential. Buccs try scorers were R Connors, S Griffiths and D Murphy with C Kelly adding 2 conversions.
