EXILES CUP
The traditional St. Stephen’s Day fixture which now commemorates Big Pat Hynes features the President’s XV against an Exiles selection. The latter side came out on top in last year’s revived fixture after an entertaining and high-scoring affair. It is likely to be equally enjoyable this year when it kicks-off at 2 p.m.
FUN RUN
BUCCANEERS are holding a third 5K FUN RUN on New Year’s Day with the proceeds raised being shared equally with St. Hilda’s Services and the club. The Fun Run takes place on the lovely track at the Regional Sports Centre. Registration commences at 11 a.m. with the Fun Run starting at 12 noon. You can race it, run it or simply walk it if you prefer. Entry is €10 per adult and family fee is only €20. Let’s see a big turnout to support two worthwhile organisations on the day and the get 2025 off to flying start!
