LACHLANN’S JOURNEY

LACHLANN’S JOURNEY

Connacht Rugby Participation Manager Lyndon Jones and his wife Michelle lost their infant son Lachlann earlier this year at just 12 weeks old.

Baby Lachlann received incredible care during his short and meaningful life in Temple Street Hospital while Lyndon and family were lucky to stay at Hugh’s House, a charity that provides accommodation for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment in hospital.
In honour of Lachlann and in gratitude for the Children’s Health Foundation and Hugh’s House, Lyndon and his brother-in-law Cathal are undertaking ‘Lachlann’s Journey’ when they will walk from Lyndon’s home in Westport to Temple Street Children’s Hospital, a distance of 270 km. They commence their 9-days journey on September 7th.
