MICHAEL THORNTON
The death has occurred of Michael Thornton who played for the club in the days of Athlone RFC. Mick was a regular attender of matches particularly when his grandsons Evin, Rian and Donagh were in action for Buccaneers youths teams. A native of Carbury, he was a passionate follower of Kildare GAA affairs.
Deepest sympathy is extended to his wife Therese, daughters Orlagh, Deirdre, Sinead, Fiona and Eilish, and all the wider family. May Mick rest in eternal peace.
