OTHER FIXTURES

BUCCANEERS U-20’s travel to Dublin on Sunday where they square up to Wanderers in the J.P.Fanagan Leinster League Premier 2. This game takes place at Merrion Road with a 2.30 p.m. kick-off. Buccs win over Seapoint moves them up to second while Wanderers sit in fourth spot. We also wish our U-20’s best of luck with their Sponsored Cycle on the Greenway on Saturday week, November 19th.

BUCCANEERS SECONDS have made a disappointing start to this season’s Connacht Junior 1A League and they face an acid test when dual champions Connemara come to Dubarry Park on Saturday night. Buccs ran the Blacks real close in the Junior Cup final but they have yet to rediscover the form that also earned them a top four slot in the league last year.

Connemara too are also a little below par, shipping a heavy defeat at Creggs while just pipping Castlebar in Clifden. They also exited the Energia Junior Cup away to Newcastle West. So both the Blacks and Buccs have much to prove and improve so a keenly contested battle looks likely. Kick-off is 7 p.m.

BUCCANEERS THIRDS have been going great guns since they reformed and top Pool C of the Connacht Junior 2 League. They will get a searching test of their progress on Sunday when they head to Wesport where they square up to the Mayo club’s Second string. The action starts there at 2.30 p.m.
