Buccaneers U-15’s narrowly lost their Connacht league final 7-5 to Sligo, with a disallowed try being a contentious decision. Buccs U-17’s also lost to Sligo in their decider, going down 21-10.

Meanwhile, Buccs Seconds fixture away to Monivea on Saturday did not take place due to a floodlights malfunction at the Castle Grounds. However, our Womens team brought some joy with a 21-19 victory over Sligo in their Connacht League match at Dubarry Park on Sunday. Aoibhe Kelly was the heroine here scoring two tries and landing three conversions! Hazel Kilduff added the third try. Finally, Buccaneers U-16’s girls had a resounding victory over Midland Warriors in Moate.
