Buccaneers kick of their competitive season on Saturday week when they face Sligo in the opening round of the Connacht Senior League at Hamilton Park, Strandhill. Each team has only four fixtures, two at home and two away. There are some other changes to the league in that the winners will qualify for the Bateman Cup semi-final and they will also go directly into the Connacht Senior Cup final. So lots to play for in this curtailed league. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with a squad session at Dubarry Park on this Saturday afternoon commencing at 12.30 p.m.

Cawley Cup fixtures for Buccaneers J1A team have also been released. They commence their campaign with a home test against Monivea on Sunday week. The Connacht Junior League fixtures will be announced shortly.
