GOLF CLASSIC A SUNNY SUCCESS
Buccaneers RFC Annual Golf Classic proved hugely successful at Glasson Lakeshore last Tuesday. A splendid number of teams participated and the golf course was in magnificent condition. The roasting sunshine made for a challenging day’s golf but the overall feedback was that it was a terrific event.
A team of comprised mainly of accountants got their figures right to win on an impressive tally of 98 points. The prizes, sponsored by Dubarry of Ireland, will be presented at Buccaneers first All-Ireland League game of the new season, which is against Cashel on October 2nd. Thanks to all the teams and players who played in the classic and also, of course, to our various sponsors.
