U-14s BOUNCE BACK
Buccaneers U-14s put in a terrific away performance in Gort on Saturday when they enjoyed a convincing 48-0 Connacht Cup victory as they got back to winning ways. Buccaneers played with a strong wind on their backs in the first half and they produced a dominant display to lead 19-0 at the break. Tadhg Rohan, Aaron Costello and Daniel Murphy scored the tries and Corey Kelly added two conversions.
The visitors picked up where they left off when the second half resumed and scored 5 further tries to seal a comfortable win. Murphy (2 more), Robert Connor, Fearghal Kelly and Dylan Moran touched down and Connor and Jason Heneghan added two conversions to leave the final scoreline as Gort 0 Buccaneers 48. Well done to all squad members and to the coaches. Many thanks to Gort for a sporting match. Next up for Buccaneers is a home match against Ballina next weekend.
