U-15’s win at Headford

Buccaneers U-15s made the trip to Headford to play the local team in a friendly at the weekend. Buccs settled into the game quickly and scored a classy try when full back Padraig O’Neill looped around the returning Ronan Tynan to cross over the whitewash. Buccs were putting multiple phases together with John Finnan scoring twice before the break to leave the half time score at 19-0 in favour of the visitors.
Corrib came back strongly in the second term and poor goal line defending allowed the home team over for a try. A rampaging Aidan Costello got Buccs back on track before Finnan completed his hat trick.

Captain Finnan led from the front and he got the most help from Eoin Carr and Elliott Friel in the backs and Brian Roarke and Adam Murphy in the forwards.
