GALWAY BAY 8 BUCCANEERS 48
Buccaneers U-16s rediscovered some of last year’s form with a good performance against league leaders Galway Bay. On a sound Dangan pitch in good conditions Buccs progressed to the Connacht League final playing running rugby to beat the opposition 48-8, scoring 8 tries and 4 conversions to a penalty and a try. In fact Galway Bay scored first and last in this entertaining encounter. Buccs now progress to the final against a strong Creggs outfit who beat the Athlonians earlier in the season.
