BUCCANEERS U-20’s commence their competitive season with a tricky Leinster League qualifier away to Galway Corinthians at Corinthian Park on Sunday. Kick off is 2.30 p.m. for this Pool opener. Buccs other two fixtures in this group are away to Galwegians on October 2nd and their sole home game is against NUI Galway on October 9th.
This Buccs squad have a sizeable portion of players from last season’s successful season still underage for this year. They have had a couple of useful friendlies under their belt already in preparation for the new campaign. Corinthians will pose a stiff test on their own ground but the Pirates, provided they are focussed and disciplined, can make a winning start.
