U-20’s AWAY TO GALWEGIANS
BUCCANEERS U-20’s face a tricky assignment away to Galwegians in the opening round of the Bank of Ireland Connacht U-20 League on Sunday. Kick-off at Crowley Park is 2.30 p.m.
Wth the first two of their three fixtures being away this season, it will be a tough test for the Shannonsiders to defend the title they won last year. However, there is quality in their squad, including Paddy Egan, Niall Tallon and Sean Rohan in the pack and Thomas Cotton and Tom Sheehan in the backs unit. These matches also rank as qualifiers for the J.P.Fanagan Leinster League Premier 2 division so all games are likely to be contested with vigour and no little skill.
