Buccs U-15’s ‘black’ travelled to the superb new settings at Creggs RFC on the wettest of October Saturdays and came away with a comprehensive 49-5 victory. From the moment Fionn Lyons put Donnacha Connolly in for a training ground try in the first minute it rained tries for the Athlone boys. Some superb tries in the appalling conditions followed with sweet go forward ball enabling the half backs to dictate the game. A Creggs try on the half time mark was just a speed bump as Buccs kept going to the end. Best for Buccs were Sean Rohan, Sean Doyle and Patrick Egan in the forwards and Ryan Gahan and Danny Reid in the backs.
