WHAT A WEEKEND OF RUGBY AT BUCCANEERS!

The final weekend of the rugby season is upon us and what a weekend it promises for BUCCANEERS!

The Senior squad travel to Belfast for an Energia All-Ireland League Division 2A promotion play-off against long time leaders Queen’s University on Saturday.
The action here kicks of in The Dub at 2.30 p.m. Buccs have just one change to their starting XV from their splendid semi-final victory at Cashel with MARTIN STAUNTON coming in for Charlie Ward in the front row.
The Pirates have hit form at the business end of the league and, with a near full-strength squad, will travel with some optimism albeit against a very good northern side.
Supporters Bus departs The Bounty at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday; contact Geraldine at 0861732711 to book your seat for this not to be missed decider!

Then on Sunday, Buccaneers have no less than FOUR teams contesting Connacht Cup finals at Galway Sportsground!
U-16 Cup final (replay) v Corinthians @ 11.00 a.m.
U-13 Cup final v Corinthians Black @ 12.30 p.m.
U-15 Cup final v Sligo @ 2 p.m.
U-17 Cup final v Sligo @ 4 p.m.
With so many Buccs teams playing let’s see and hear hordes of Pirates at the Sportsground.

Finally, on the bank holiday Monday it’s the final fixture of the season when Buccaneers and Creggs replay in the Connacht U-18.5 Plate final at The Green, Creggs, kick off 3 p.m.

Meanwhile, on Saturday afternoon, a Junior Interprovincial match takes place at Dubarry Park between Connacht and Leinster. 3 Buccaneers players are in the Connacht squad for this game which gets under way at 2.30 p.m.

So what a way to end a long and successful season. For those who are unable to travel to Belfast, the big AIL fixture will be streamed live!
