YOUTH MATCHES
Ballinasloe was the venue for Buccaneers U-13’s on Saturday when they played their first game ever on a full pitch. On a perfect day Buccs relished the opportunity to keep the ball in hand and ended up not kicking at all. The
try count was 10 to 3 in their favour but, most importantly, they moved the
ball very well at times. This was a huge learning curve for a squad which
has unlimited potential.

Buccaneers U-16’s were the first team out of the traps for the new season with a local derby in Ballinasloe against the hosts. Buccs played some great rugby and all 25 players performed well in a comprehensive win. A good start to the season for a squad that have already trained 12 times.
