U-14s ENTERTAIN SCOTTISH TEAM
BUCCANEERS U-14s have an interesting fixture at 12 noon on Sunday when they play Scottish club Marr Rugby. Marr are travelling over for Connacht’s game v Glasgow Warriors. One of their coaches Paul Duncan hails from Beechpark West in Athlone. It will be a wonderful opportunity for this group of young Pirates to get a taste of international flavour ahead of their upcoming trip to a major tournament in Portugal in March. I understand that national anthems will be played on bagpipes so it promises to be a colourful occasion so let’s see as much home support as possible wearing club gear at this game.
