U-20s AWAY TO NAAS
BUCCANEERS U-20s travel to Forenaughts where they square up to Naas in the J.P.Fanagan Leinster League Premier 2 Division on Sunday. This Super Six Group 1 fixture has a 3 p.m. kick-off.
Buccs defeated Naas in the opening round of the league but, while they fully deserved their win, the margin flattered the Pirates. Naas have been on a good run of late including an impressive 45-15 home victory over UCD last Sunday.
But the young Pirates are not top of this league for no reason. They have a strong and skillful pack that can dominate. Their backs unit has been stretched due to injuries recently but, hopefully, some will be fit to return to active duty on Sunday in what is likely to be a vital searching test of Buccs capabilities as they strive to remain top of the leaderboard.
